On November 30th, 2019 the Old Mission Peninsula Wine Trail was transformed into a battleground for our ever-popular Mac & Cheese Bake-Off. For the first time in the event’s history, we had 10 competitors vying for their chance to win. After six hours of Mac & Cheese and wine tasting, the attendees voted for this year’s Golden Noodle Recipients.

  • Overall Favorite: Bayside Market Roasted Acorn Squash 3-Cheese Mac with Sundried Tomatoes, Spinach, and Spiced Pepitas paired with Chateau Grand Traverse 2017 Barrel Fermented Chardonnay
  • Best Pairing: Smokehouse Mac Shack Taco Mac & Cheese with Mari Vineyards 2016 Scriptorium Riesling
  • The Cheesiest: Black Star Farms Hearth & Vine Café Autumn Apple & Brie Mac & Cheese topped with Peach Glazed Pork Belly and Scorpion Pepper Balsamic paired with Black Star Farms 2017 Arcturos Semi-Dry Riesling
