About Peninsula Cellars

Peninsula Cellars was founded by an industrious family that has farmed Old Mission Peninsula for over 100 years. The historic Maple Grove Schoolhouse serves as the tasting room, offering a nod to the winery’s time-honored roots. The friendly, knowledgeable staff serves red and white varietals, fruit wines, and hard ciders in a warm, hospitable atmosphere.

Indoor and outdoor seating is available on a first come, first served basis. If you are traveling with a group of 12 or more people or with a bus/tour/shuttle company, we ask that you make arrangements by calling our tasting room at 231-933-9787.

Wine flights are available for $15, which includes four 2 ounce pours of any wine or hard cider of your choosing. Wine and hard cider are also available by the glass.

We do not accept groups larger than 12 at this time. Groups are required to make a reservation. Please CLICK HERE for additional details.

The weather is looking gloomy today! Please remember that seating is OUTDOORS only. There is no indoor seating, so please prepare appropriately. Please be kind, mind your distance, and mask up!

📅 We are open daily from 12PM-6PM.
🍂 Seating is entirely outdoors. Our space does not allow for indoor seating, so please come prepared for the weather--rain or shine.
😷 Masks are required at all times, until you are seated at a table. If you are medically unable to wear a mask, please notify our staff and we will accommodate you at a table.
👫 Groups of 10 people or less only. We will serve your group no more than 4 people at a time. Groups larger than 4 are able to sit together under our tent in the vineyard.
👐 Wash your hands. We`ve got a handwashing station right outside the front door. Please use it.
🕐 We do not accept reservations. First come, first served. Please not save tables.

There`s been some confusion here in Michigan regarding rules and regulations, so we thought we`d remind you of a few of our business policies that remain in place that you`ll want to know for a visit to the tasting room:
